Jornal de Leiria – Pombal invests 700 thousand euros in the renovation of the industrial park and urban requalification in Abiul

The contracts for the renovation of the Industrial Park and the urban requalification of Abiul (Rua dos Muros) will cost 700 thousand euros.

On Friday, the 26th, on a visit to the works, the mayor of Pombal, Pedro Pimpão, accompanied by councilor Pedro Navega, the president of the Parish Council, Sandra Barros, and municipal technicians, went to the field to monitor the evolution of work.

The improvement of infrastructure in the Abiul Industrial Park has an estimated value of 215 thousand euros, to requalify the streets and sidewalks, improving the circulation and maneuvering of heavy vehicles and pedestrian circulation.

In the case of the urban requalification of Rua dos Muros, the investment is more than 465 thousand euros.

The project extends from the intersection with EM 501 to the access road to the industrial park and the sports park, with plans to create a parking space.
