STAR WOK opened in Marco de Canaveses with an all-you-can-eat buffet and capacity for more than 300 people

STAR WOK is a Buffet & Grill restaurant that opened its doors in Marco de Canaveses this Saturday, April 27th, with a full house. Sushi, grilled food, hot snacks, salads and desserts are just some of the dishes you can try in this new restaurant space.

Weibin Xia, a Chinese national, has been living in Portugal for around 20 years. In Marcoenses, she has already invested in commercial stores, but this is the first time she has opened a space linked to restaurants. With “high expectations”the person responsible had no doubts when he chose the city of Marco de Canaveses to invest in this new project. “I really like the city and I think it has enormous potential for this restaurant concept”shared.

This way, anyone who visits STAR WOK can eat at their leisure. “The buffet is free and the meat and fish are made to order. We put it on the plate and then our robot delivers the food directly to the table”he explained.

The restaurant has capacity for around 360 people, including three tables in reserved rooms intended for “group meals and parties”.

For those visiting the space with children, the owner thought of every detail and organized an entertainment area dedicated to the little ones. In this way, he believes that parents will be able to have a “restful and peaceful”.

STAR WOK bets on local producers

One of Weibin Xia’s priorities, since planning the investment, was to work with local producers to ensure “fresh and quality products” and support the “local market. We establish partnerships with Marcoense companies in terms of meat, vegetables and wines”. Furthermore, the restaurant provides fresh fish daily.

To conclude, Weibin Xia leaves an invitation to the population: “Visit us and learn about our concept. We want to meet the expectations of Marco de Canaveses, but also of anyone who visits us. We believe that we will make a difference, especially in the Douro, Tâmega and Sousa region”.

The restaurant is located in Marco de Canaveses Industrial Zone (Rua Dois da Zona Industrial n.º 31, 4630-489 Marco de Canaveses), providing customers “A large parking space”.

From Monday to Friday the cost of lunch is 11.95 euros and dinner is 15.95 euros. On weekends and holidays, the price for both lunch and dinner is 16.95 euros. This price includes all-you-can-eat food, however drinks and coffee are paid separately. You can follow the restaurant on social media.
