As previously reported, in March, Portel prepared the creation of a new river beach, in the Oriola area. In this way, the municipality now presents the study of the environmental impact, as well as the project for the aforementioned beach.

The cream-colored area will be the Kiosk Bar area and will have an area of 120 m2, which presents “a solution consisting of a bar room, kitchen, pantry, sanitary facilities for employees and a storage space; at the back, to avoid cluttering the space upon arrival at the beach, a patio will be delimited through wooden walls for the use of the Kiosque Bar explorer”.

Next door, in beige color, is the Beach Support, with an area of 80 m2 and “facilities for lifeguards, a medical post, sanitary facilities for both sexes and individuals with reduced mobility and three shower spaces” .

The Storage spaces, with a total area of 36.00 m2, separated and located next to the access to the picnic area (around the Kiosk Bar), will be “executed using the ‘Farcimar’ GOMOS system or equivalent and have the following dimensions 5.90 x2.35 meters; They are made up of one module each made of prefabricated concrete based on two foundation beams, the module will be without thermal insulation as given its function it is not necessary to apply insulation, these modules will be covered in wood and will have a single access space.” .

It should be remembered that the procedure foresees an investment of 458,238 euros and an execution period of 120 days.
