Last weekend, the third scoring competition of the Portuguese Cup of XCO (Olympic cross-country) in Lousada, where Roberto Ferreira and Ana Santos, both from Guilhabreu MTB Team, took first place in the elite categories.
Men’s Elite Category
Roberto Ferreira dominated the men’s competition by completing the nine laps of the course in 1h28m37s, leaving Mário Costa, second placed, with a difference of just 1m2s. Diogo Neves, also from the Guilhabreu MTB Team, reached third place and was the best under-23, finishing the race 1m50s behind the winner.

Women’s Elite Category
In the women’s category, Ana Santos shone by covering seven laps in 1h24m24s, thus guaranteeing victory. Joana Monteiro took second place, 1m31s behind the winner, while Lara Lois (RG Bikes Scott Team) completed the podium, finishing the race two minutes after the leader.
