Alluding to the name, Luís Miguel Correia, director of DARQ, explains that it is “habit.action because architecture is not only reflective, it is active and transformative and it is, through drawing, that we intend to encourage students to this reflection and transformation of our territory for a better quality of life”.
With a practical component and the active involvement of DARQ students, who work on the topic of housing in all years of the course, the event aims to promote academic and professional “intergenerational interaction”, explains Gonçalo Queirós, Architecture student.
In addition to students, the seminar will feature the participation of several national and international architects who will analyze the scarcity of affordable housing, present and debate housing projects, academic projects and housing policies in Portugal.
