Music will be the main ingredient of the 10th anniversary of Village Underground, in Alcântara. Next Saturday, May 4th, the doors open at 3pm for more than 12 hours of partying. The venue will have two stages, where more than 30 artists will perform.

The program brings together the “mix of musical rhythms that are part of the house’s identity”, as stated in a statement. Therefore, trance, house, dub, techno, hip hop and trap are invited, sounds that made this space a stop on the clubbing circuit in the city of Lisbon. In addition to music, the birthday program will include a market, art, theater, workshops, food and drinks and even activities for the little ones. Entry is free.

“10 years ago, a creative cultural village emerged, with the aim of providing conditions for artists to have a space to create and show their work, for companies to discover new perspectives and for people to have an alternative space for leisure in the city”, it also reads. The project created by Mariana Duarte Silva still includes stores, workshops and offices, as well as a diverse cultural program.

In connection with its 10th anniversary, Village Underground is also debuting a new visual identity, designed by design agency Poets & Painters.
