The Economic Forum, which brings together experts to discuss sustainable innovation, ESG, talent management and the city’s economic development, is one of the main highlights of the Braga Economy Week program, which returns to Forum Braga from the 20th to the 25th of May.

The opening of the event will be in charge of the executive administrator of InvestBraga, Carlos Silva.

On May 21st, at 3 pm, in the Grand Auditorium of Forum Braga, the president of the Municipality of Braga and InvestBraga, Ricardo Rio, will start the session where the most recent figures on Braga’s development and growth will be presented.

“During the event, strategic projects that have positioned Braga as one of the international reference cities in terms of Cities of the Future will also be discussed. This presentation will be especially significant, marking the celebration of InvestBraga’s 10th anniversary”, highlights the organization.

The second part of the session will feature the intervention of Sheikh Mansoor Bin Khalifa Al-Thani, a member of Qatar’s ruling family.

The third part of the Economic Forum session debates Sustainable Innovation and the ESG Strategy in Exporting Companies. The presence of Fernando Leite, vice-president of GRACE – Responsible Companies, Jorge Portugal, general director COTEC Portugal – Business Association for Innovation and Luís Neves, president of GeSI – Global Enabling Sustainability Initiative, has already been confirmed for the panel. Moderation will be in charge of Rui Neves, coordinator of Jornal de Negócios.

The closing of the Economic Forum will be in charge of the Minister of Economy, Pedro Reis.
