The young man from Viana do Castelo who bought an old Ford Fiesta for 200 euros made the mythical Pedra Sentada jump, in Fafe.

In a record published yesterday, Ademar Marques shows himself driving the Ford Fiesta on the stages of the Rally de Portugal, which will be covered by the best in the world on May 14, at the Rally de Portugal.

Before the ‘stars’ enter the scene, such as three world champions – the Frenchman Sébastien Ogier (Toyota Yaris), the Estonian Ott Tänak (Hyundai i20) and the Finnish Kalle Rovanperä (Toyota Yaris) -, the young man from Barroselas shows his his modest car on the dirt roads.

In mid-April, Ademar had already published a video showing the training for this flight, which has now come to fruition.

As O MINHO reported, the young man has been publishing videos for several months showing the 1990 car undergoing tests, driven like a real rally car, or climbing paths full of rocks as if it were an off-road vehicle. All this with a 1.1 displacement engine, completely ‘stock’, with no mechanical changes.

The car was purchased used by Ademar Marques, for 200 euros, who wanted a cheap vehicle just to transport his downhill bike to the mountain. “Now I even carry it on a daily basis because it uses very little,” he revealed to O MINHO, in January.

Although it “seems dangerous”, Ademar says that he and his friends try to guarantee “maximum safety” – as far as possible in an extreme sport.

His most viewed video has 350,000 views on Instagram.
