Valvian is a new Portuguese company dedicated to biotechnology, supported by national and international partners. The company created a center of excellence in biotechnology in Portugal, which aims to become the main one in Europe. A Valvian, led by entrepreneur Nuno Prego Ramos, aims to revolutionize the development of therapies for cancer and longevity, with great support from artificial intelligence.

The new company was born from an investment by Nuno Prego Ramos, after the sale of a set of innovative therapies for the treatment of cancer in solid tumors from the company CellmAbs to BioNTech. A operation guaranteed the raising of capital for the creation of Valvian and initial financing for the development of therapies in the pre-clinical phase, that is, drug candidates.
