Born in 1904 in Marco de Canaveses, currently having national coverage and a presence in Angola, Mozambique, Uganda, Tanzania and Kenya, the JAP group already has representation of the Foton brand “in some African countries”, with the partnership for Portugal being “another step in the strategy of expanding and strengthening the relationship between the two entities”, emphasizes the Portuguese group.

An agreement that, “more than strengthening Portugal’s electric mobility infrastructure, also aligns with national objectives for reducing emissions and efficient energy transition”, highlights the JAP group.

“This partnership is an important milestone in our sustainability strategy and reaffirms our commitment to innovation and leadership in the electric mobility segment”, says Jan Oehmicke, administrator of the JAP group.

Wu ZongTian, vice-president of Foton International, highlights that “the partnership with the JAP group represents another important step in Foton’s implementation strategy in Europe”.
