Eurovision Festival: Portugal has already held its second rehearsal. iolanda rises in the bookmakers and could reach the final

The reactions to Portugal’s second rehearsal were not long after the 30 seconds of the accomplished performance were revealed by the organization.

Before this test, Portugal was in 11th place in the bookmakers for the first semi-final. After the publication of all the essays, the Portuguese song took off among bettors and is now in ninth position, among 15 countries, with an aggregate chance of qualification of around 69%.

Among declared fans of the Eurovision festival and specialized journalists, the consensus is that iolanda cemented her chances of qualifying for the Grand Final.

Laura Ortiz Montero, well-known Spanish YouTuber in the Eurovision world, defines Portugal’s performance in two words: “Quality and elegance”.

The first semi-final of the 68th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest will take place on Tuesday, May 7th, in the Swedish city of Malmö. Portugal will be the fourteenth of fifteen countries in the competition. Only ten will go through to the Grand Final, Saturday, May 11th. The decision will be 100% up to the public.

“Grito”, written by iolanda and produced by her and Luar, represents the national colors after being the winning song of the 57th edition of the Festival RTP da Canção. It received the maximum score from the regional jury and was ranked second in the popular vote.
