The “Aqui Há História” initiative in Viseu was postponed until May 11th. The new edition was going to take place this Saturday (4th) at Porta do Soar (monument located in the historic center of the city), but it will not be possible due to the rain forecast for tomorrow.
“Considering the adverse weather conditions, the Aqui Há História initiative, which would take place tomorrow, May 4th, with Porta do Soar as the chosen monument, was rescheduled for next Saturday, May 11th”, states the note released by Viseu Chamber, which organizes the initiative.
“Aqui Há História” usually takes place on the first Saturday of each month and takes visitors to learn about the history of various historical spaces in the city that are generally closed to the general public.
“This is a project that aims to boost tourism in the Garden City, as well as bringing the population closer to several places that have marked the history of Viseu and deserve greater prominence and recognition”, highlights the municipality.
