Members of the Portuguese Evangelical Bench, with the presence of Brazilian federal deputy Marco Feliciano and supporter of Bolsonaro, visited the Assembly of the Republic this Friday and met with Gonçalo da Câmara Pereira (president of the PPM, who was part of the AD). “It was a courtesy visit to the Government to show that we are available to help. We want to be a party with representation in the Assembly and our objective is that the Bible is implemented in Parliament to help political actors make wise decisions”, Paulo Nunes, coordinator of the Portuguese Evangélica Bench, told CM. The official assured that the party no longer identifies itself and “cut ties” with the National Democratic Alternative (ADN) because “it is against gender ideology, against LGBT movements and abortion”. “The word of God is governed by humanity. Enough of what we watch daily. We want change, we want everyone to live the word of God and only with our entry into Parliament will this happen”, explained Paulo Nunes.
