After losing last season’s final, Sporting CP redeemed themselves and finally won the Rocket Master League Portugal.

Crazy day at Rocket Master League Portugal with the crowning of a new national Rocket League champion. Sporting CP and Luna Galaxy opened the first game of the day, counting for the 1st semi-final.

In Bo7, Luna started better, but did not have the tools to overcome a Sporting team confident in their victory. The lions, after being tied 2-2, managed to win 4-2, sealing their place in the final.

On the other side there was no game. Surprisingly, mGa, after leading the regular season undefeated, and considered favorites to win the trophy, did not attend. This gave FC Famalicão a place default at the final.

In the grand final, the 4th seeds started better and took two games of flurry, both in overtime. The green and white team responded and managed to tie the series. FCF still placed first in Match Point, but ended up drawing another draw in the 6th game of the final.

At the stage of all decisions, the game brought a festival of goals that saw Sporting CP leading and FC Famalicão always equalizing the scores. The hero of the last game was Dani, from Sporting CP, who managed to score the winning goal.

Sporting CP thus managed to redeem itself from the defeat in last season’s final and lifted the Rocket Master League Portugal trophy for the first time in its history in the 3rd season of the league.

This was the result of the Rocket Master League Portugal Season 3 Final Four:

1st | – €650
2nd | – €200
3rd | Luna Galaxy – €75
DQ | mGa Esports
