The Farense coach said today that his team is fully motivated to guarantee its permanence in the I Football League in Sunday’s reception to Estoril Praia, in the 32nd and third-to-last round.

“We know we won a good victory in the previous game [3-0 no reduto do Estrela da Amadora] and mathematically we are very close to the objective, which is permanence. All of these are enough arguments for us to be motivated, to be responsible and I think that this working group is prepared to once again make an effort and dignify the colors of Farense”, highlighted José Mota.

In statements released by the Algarve club, the coach reinforced that the game “is being seen like all the others” and that playing at the São Luís Stadium will allow his team to “be able to bring more joy” to the fans.

The Algarve will present themselves with “that strong thought, of unity, of wanting to win”, said José Mota, who wants to improve the brands registered so far.

“We have 34 points, we want 37, it would be excellent, I think it is an important mark. We have scored 42 goals, we want more goals and we don’t want to concede”, he stressed.

The three remaining games, he continued, “will be faced with full determination”, with a goal in mind.

“We know that there is an old phrase in football – ‘the last image is the last’ – and we want to have, without a doubt, an excellent image”, he concluded.

Farense, 10th ranked, with 34 points, and Estoril Praia, 11th, with 33, face each other on Sunday, at the São Luís Stadium, in Faro, refereed by Luís Godinho, from the Évora association.
