Sporting achieved its 20th national title; Benfica leads the count with 38, followed by FC Porto, with 30
Goal achieved: Rúben Amorim’s Sporting became national champions this Sunday, in what is the 20th title for the Alvalade club, the second under the command of the 39-year-old Portuguese coach.
The lions again slightly reduce the distance to rivals Benfica and FC Porto, who have accumulated 38 and 30 national titles, respectively.
