Moura is the Municipality of Baixo Alentejo with the best presence on the internet and is in 18th across the country, it was announced last April in the presentation of the results of the 12th edition of the Internet Presence Index of Municipal Chambers, the IPIC 2023.
In the national global ranking, which includes 308 Portuguese municipalities, Câmara de Moura occupies 18th position, but, when compared to the 187 small municipalities, it has the 5th best result.
Of the Municipalities of Baixo Alentejo, it is the best ranked, the second being Castro Verde, only in 106th place.
IPIC 2023 is the ranking of the Internet presence of Portuguese municipal councils in 2023 and results from the calculation of the scores that each of the councils obtained in each of the four major analysis criteria that make up the evaluation grid, namely: Criterion 1 “ Contents: Type and Update”, Criterion 2 “Accessibility, Navigability and Ease of Use”, Criterion 3 “Online Services” and Criterion 4 “Participation”.
The Municipality of Moura currently makes the Municipal Portal available on the internet, which encompasses online municipal services. At this time, the municipality also reinforces that it is reformulating its mobile application, which will be made available soon, «in a clear focus on services close to the population».
