Part of land in Aveiro will be sold to private ownership – CASA SAPO News

One parcel of land next to the former São Bernardo Mental Health Center, in Aveiro, it will be sold at public auction for a base value of three million euros, after approval by the Aveiro City Council. Thus, the installment will be sold to the private domain of the municipality for the value of 3,084,600 euros to offer housing at controlled costs, of around 120 dwellings.

The plot of land is located on Rua das Cilhas and will include the construction of seven single-family homesas well as new urban structures to stimulate “investment in the land adjacent to this and which is pending”.

In addition to this project, the urban study of Cilhas on the land located to the east of the former Mental Health Center, with the objective of structuring the empty space, of around seven hectares, to settle “current concepts of urbanity”, occupying the “urban void”.

According to the municipality, “urban design translates, fundamentally, into a regular organization of multi-family housing complexes for housing at controlled costs, and some houses, promoting the appearance of green spaces and sports equipment that are designed on a more comprehensive scale, framed within a green structure that promotes connection/articulation with equipment and ecological corridors to the north of the study area”.
