Portugal takes 13 companies to the largest Iberian fair in the wood sector

From the 14th to the 17th of May, a group of thirteen Portuguese companies participate in the biggest Iberian event in the wood sector: MADERALIA 2024.

This fair, which takes place in Valencia, Spain, is organized simultaneously with FIMMA. FIMMA + MADERALIA can be visited at Feria Valencia, an important event dedicated to technology, materials and components for furniture and interior design. The Portuguese representation will be located in the fair space at stands, N3 – P1 Stand E58 and N3 – P3 Stands B40 and D12.

Portugal’s presence is organized by AIMMP – Association of Wood and Furniture Industries of Portugal – in the context of the Inter Wood & Furniture 2022-2024 project – a project to support the international promotion of the wood and furniture sector, namely to expand markets and increased exports by their companies.

Vítor Poças, President of AIMMP, highlights in this participation that “in Maderalia, Portuguese companies will build the path to strengthening the sector’s exports in a market of enormous relevance for Portugal. By presenting the excellence of the Portuguese portfolio, they are opening doors to new markets and opportunities for international growth. Through the internationalization plan, Inter Wood & Furniture, AIMMP is shaping the future of the industry, expanding horizons and taking Portuguese excellence beyond borders”.

The companies Berneck by B2Y, Delivering Nature by Granorte, Douro Deck, EPW, JMR, Madeiras Afonso, MUVV, Revesperfil, Ribadao Wood Boutique, Simply Ceram, Thunder Target, Toronobre and X8 Solutions Group are part of the Portuguese delegation.
