Two men and a woman, aged 39 and 46, were arrested for drug trafficking, in the municipality of Caminha, last Thursday, GNR reported today. They were suspected of thefts from commercial establishments and were traveling in a stolen car.

In a statement, the Territorial Command of Viana do Castelo states that, following an investigation into thefts in commercial establishments, the military from the Criminal Investigation Center (NIC) of Viana do Castelo identified and located the suspects.

“When the suspects were approached, it was possible to determine that they were being transported in a stolen vehicle, culminating in their arrest in the act”, says the statement.

Following the action, two searches were carried out, one at home and one in a motor vehicle, in which 21 doses of cocaine, 61 doses of heroin, 4,200 euros in cash, a precision scale, a vehicle, six cell phones, two computers, a tablet, various material used to break into establishments and various stolen objects.

The suspects were arrested and presented for the first judicial interrogation at the Caminha Court, where the preventive detention coercion measure was ordered for the 44-year-old suspect.

The other two were forced to appear weekly at the police station in their area of ​​residence.
