The Lisbon Marriott Hotel has a new director of maintenance and engineering. Rui Francisco has a degree in Civil Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico since 1998 and has a Master of Business Administration from Universidade Católica and Nova de Lisboa completed in 2010.
He began his professional career as a designer for a few months, and then joined Teixeira Duarte, where he worked as Construction Director from 1999 to 2007, having participated in several reference projects in the hospital area and public works infrastructure.
Between 2007 and 2015 he worked in the automotive after-sales sector, as General Director of Auto Bayern BMW Service.
He returned to real estate project management in 2015, as Construction Director at Vectormais, where he coordinated the complete renovation work on the headquarters buildings of several multinationals.
In 2022 he joined Cushman & Wakefield, SA with the role of Real Estate Asset Manager, taking on the management of the largest and one of the most iconic office buildings in Lisbon.
