The Faculty of Human and Social Sciences (FCHS) of the University of Algarve organizes, on the 8th and 9th of May, the «XXII Psychology Meeting in the Algarve», which will take place in the Teresa Gamito amphitheater, building 1, Gambelas Campus.

This year, the meeting includes the “IV Junior Research Symposium” and the “CUIP Symposium: Interfaces of Basic and Applied Psychology”, highlighting the integration between research and applied practices in the field of Psychology.

On the first day, the Psychology Meeting will feature the Plenary Conference “Healthy learning and work environments: Investigations and Interventions”, given by Tânia Gaspar, coordinator of the Portuguese Laboratory of Healthy Work Environments, followed by the presentation of internship institutions, which will be distributed across different tables depending on the area of ​​specialization. In the afternoon, there will be thematic workshops, in online format

On the 9th, this initiative is divided into two Symposia. The “IV Junior Research Symposium” which, in the morning, seeks to promote the sharing of research practices in Psychology developed throughout the country. In addition, it also features a Plenary Conference by Eugénia Ribeiro, professor at the University of Minho, titled “Therapeutic Collaboration and Responsiveness in Psychotherapy: It Takes Two to Tango!”

After lunch, via the ZOOM platform, the “CUIP Symposium: Interfaces of Basic and Applied Psychology” will take place, which will feature several presentations of Psychology works, developed in connection with other areas, such as Tourism, Art, Education, between others.
