The Regional Development Coordination Committee of the Center, IP (CCDR Centro) launched today, May 6, 2024, the “Cultura ao Centro” Program, the new support program for non-professional cultural agents. This program, with a budget of 155 thousand euros, has two types of support: Support for Cultural Action and Support for Musical Associations.
Support for Cultural Action, with applications open until June 7, 2024, includes four distinct measures: artistic creation/production; programming/broadcasting; edition; and training/qualification, allowing non-professional cultural agents to choose the measure most appropriate to their needs and objectives.
Support for Musical Associations, applications for which open in December, ensures financial support in an amount equivalent to value added tax (VAT) for specific purchases, such as musical instruments, consumable material and uniforms.
