O Freeport Lisboa Fashion Outlet has just added French brand The Kooples to its portfolio of iconic brands. The new 180 square meter (m2) space has fashion for women and men, as well as an offer of accessories. This is a debut, as it is the brand’s first outlet store in Portugal.
The French brand, created in 2008 by three brothers, established a striking style early on in a combination of inspirations from the world of rock and vintage. From iconic T-shirts to blazers and suits, the brand is characterized by collections that combine the classic cut with a certain rock boldness. The Kooples debuts at the Freeport Lisboa Fashion Outlet, right in front of the Italian luxury house Elisabetta Franchi and next to Zadig & Voltaire, also French and inspired by the rock universe.

At The Kooples, many of the pieces can be worn by both men and women, given that the androgynous style is one of the brand’s images. The name, in fact, is a play on words with the anglicism ‘couple’, which defines the brand’s desire to create pieces for the couple, almost as a single entity.

The new space is just one of several new features to discover in the center. Remember that the Freeport Lisboa Fashion Outlet witnessed the opening of The Cosmetics Company, with beauty products from luxury brands such as Estée Lauder, Bobbi Brown or MAC Cosmetics and also the relocation of the Karl Lagerfeld store, now in a space with more of 260 m2 (making it the brand’s largest space in Portugal).
It was also at the beginning of the year that the center opened the country’s first Zara Home Outlet, which is also distinguished by being the brand’s first store to be part of the For & From program in Portugal, a social inclusion project that helps people integrate into the labor market people with special needs.
