Born in Vila Meã, in Vila Nova de Cerveira, Carlos Sousa was last seen in that location on the night of April 13, 2021. Searches by the family, GNR and firefighters yielded nothing. Family members suspect that Carlos, 51 years old, was murdered. His disappearance remains a mystery.

Sister Cristina says, this Tuesday, to Rádio Vale do Minho that the authorities are not satisfying the family. “It seems that the authorities have forgotten”, he laments, noting that his brother’s photograph does not even appear on the PJ’s missing persons page, as is the case, for example, with Maddie McCann (disappeared in 2007) and Rui Pedro (disappeared in 1998). ).

“I will never give up trying to find my brother”, says Cristina Sousa on Alto Minho radio, but with little hope of finding him alive.

“I think he was murdered and I have my suspicions”, he adds. “It seems like it has evaporated”, he adds to the ‘Vale do Minho’ microphones. “It’s incredible how things like this can happen in such a small country”, he concludes.

The last time he was seen, Carlos Sousa “was wearing jeans and a white shirt”.
