EPTOLIVA – Escola Profissional de Oliveira do Hospital, Tábua e Arganil became district champion in the Inter-CLDE District Championship (Viseu and Coimbra) of BTT-XCO CLDE 2024, in the Male Youth and Female Youth Levels, the final of which took place at city of Oliveira do Hospital.
EPTOLIVA was the host school for the 2nd concentration of this championship and had a partnership with the Municipality of Oliveira do Hospital, the Beira Alta Cycling Association, the Beira Litoral Cycling Association, the Oliveira do Hospital School Group through from the “Sobre Rodas” Club, from the IEFP through the Physical Exercise Specialist Technician course, and from the Local Coordination of School Sports in Viseu.
At this meeting, EPTOLIVA presented itself with eighteen “EPTO MTB(ists)” who achieved 7 podiums: 1st and 2nd place in the Male Youth Class, achieved by Rodrigo Raposo and Afonso Borges; 1st and 2nd place in the Female Youth Class, obtained by Maria Leonor Pais and Carolina Duarte; and 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in the Men’s Junior Class, achieved by Gonçalo Pereira, João Bernardo and Francisco Francisco. The three Youth Men and the two Youth Women who will represent EPTOLIVA in the Regional School Sports MTB Championship, which will take place on the 9th of May, in Trancoso, in the district of Guarda, were thus selected.
