The Rally de Portugal returns from the 9th to the 12th of May, and will pass through four municipalities in the region: Amarante, Felgueiras, Lousada and Paredes.
Shakedown starts this Thursday, May 9th, and like last year, it takes place in the heart of the municipality of Paredes, in Baltar. The 4.61 km represent the test race for the final adjustments and tuning of the cars before the official start: Pilots / Drivers FIA P1 & invited P2 08h01 / 09h30; Pilots / FIA Drivers P1, P2, P3 09:31 / 11:00; Other Drivers / Other Drivers 11:01 am / 12:30 pm.
On May 11th, at 8:05 am, it is time for the municipality of Felgueiras (8.81 km) to once again host the Rally de Portugal. At 10:05 am, the SS 12 will take place in Amarante, measuring 37.24 km, being the longest PEC of the race.
At 11:35 am, it’s the turn of the SS 13 Paredes (16.09 km), one of the big news for 2024 is the inclusion of the Paredes stage, in a slightly modified version compared to 2023. The route partly takes advantage of the Shakedown route, ending in the same place, inside the Baltar circuit. In the region, the Rally de Portugal also covers SS 14 Felgueiras 2 (8.81 km) 2:35 pm – SS 16 Amarante 2 (37.24 km) 4:35 pm – SS 17 Paredes 2 (16.09 km) 6:05 pm – SS 18 Lousada (SSS – 3.36 km) 7:05 pm.
