JCDecaux announces its integration into the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) Portugal and claims to be the first medium Out-Of-Home (OOH) of the country with representation in this association dedicated to digital marketing and advertising.

This membership reflects JCDecaux’s ambition to realize its aspirations regarding the digital ecosystem and the opportunity to join the debate on the digital transformation of OOH advertising in Portugal, as explained by the brand in a statement.

Founded in 1996, IAB has a presence on 5 continents, with representation in 27 countries in Europe, with the purpose of boosting the sustainable growth of the industry, bringing together agencies, publishers, platforms and technological partners as members.

“Our membership of the IAB in Portugal allows us to have an active voice in defining the direction of digital advertising, which increasingly goes beyond the PC and mobile phone, which belong to the sphere of private use”, says Philippe in a statement. Fernando Parreira, president of IAB Portugal, states that “according to data from IAB Europe, DOOH (Digital Out-Of-Home) is one of the areas of digital advertising that has recorded significant growth in recent years. In Portugal, in recent months we have seen the affirmation of a consolidated offer, in which JCDecaux has been one of the main actors. It is therefore with great pleasure that we welcome this Player as the first member of this category.”
