Marcello Antony completely changed his life when he left Brazil for Portugal.
Living in Rio de Janeiro with his five children, two of them adopted, the artist – a well-known Brazilian soap opera heartthrob – made the decision six years ago, thinking about their future, as he explained in an interview he gave to Manuel Luís Goucha this Wednesday , May 8.
“I felt obliged, as a father, to be able to provide them with greater challenges and to protect them”, he highlighted.
However, he referred to one of the children in question: “Francisco, who is a mixed-race son, was already 16 years old at the time, and was approached by police officers on the street in an aggressive manner.”
