At the Europe Day celebration event, scheduled for today, May 9th and organized by CCDRA – Alentejo Regional Coordination and Development Commission, in Évora, a conference/debate will take place moderated by CNN journalist, Ana Sofia Cardoso, regarding to the theme “Democracy, European Integration and Cohesion Policy”.

CCDR Alentejo reinforces tourism allocation
It will be attended by President António Ceia da Silva, who will start the conference at 10 am and the opening of the panel is the responsibility of MEP Carlos Zorrinho. The closing of the first panel of the morning will be in charge of vice-president Aníbal Costa. In the afternoon, vice-president José Velez will do the honors of the house at 2:30 pm and the closing ceremony will be at 4:00 pm, with Ceia da Silva. On the same occasion, the Cohesion School manual – Creativity and Territorial Cohesion will be launched by professor António Covas. The ceremony ends with the appearance of the Secretary of State for Local Administration and Spatial Planning, Hernâni Dias.
