The Regional Government Council today approved three new program contracts.

According to the deliberations released today, this Government body decided to approve a program contract with the Students’ Association of the Escola Superior de Enfermagem de São José de Cluny, with a view to the financial participation of the Regional Youth Directorate in the implementation of the activities, referring to the year 2024.

For this purpose, a financial contribution will be distributed up to a maximum amount of 4,990 euros.

On the other hand, today’s meeting approved the signing of another program contract with the Student Association of the Instituto Superior de Administração e Línguas – AEISAL, with a view to the financial participation of the Regional Youth Directorate in the implementation of the activity plan, referring to the year 2024, granting a financial contribution for this purpose up to a maximum amount of 15,500 euros.

Finally, it authorized a program contract with Invest Madeira – Agency for Internationalization and Investment, in the amount of 701,897 euros, with a view to providing that agency with the necessary means to promote and enhance the regional business fabric, to strengthen its activity in domestic and international markets and attracting national or foreign investments, as well as support for operating and human resources expenses.

Furthermore, in today’s deliberations, the Government Council proceeded to establish a specific modality for the initial advance of operations under Objective 4 – Madeira +Social and Inclusive, within the scope of Madeira 2030, in the amount of 30% of the total approved amount, effective for advances paid in the calendar year 2024. These refer to applications submitted for financing by the Madeira Employment Institute.

The signing of a program contract with the Portuguese Swimming Federation was also authorized with a view to financial contribution in support of the “Madeira 2024 Para Swimming European Open Championships”, which took place in the Autonomous Region of Madeira between the 21st and 27th of April. 2024, in an amount that does not exceed 130,000 euros.
