The calendar for television debates between the list leaders for the European elections, which take place on June 9, has already been defined. The five debates are divided between the three generalist channels, RTP, SIC and TVI. The clashes between the leaders of the list begin on May 13th, on TVI, with the presence of Sebastião Bugalho (Aliança Democrática), Marta Temido (Partido Socialista), João Cotrim Figueiredo (Iniciativa Liberal) and Francisco Paupério (Livre), and end on May 21st, on RTP 1, with Marta Temido (PS), Sebastião Bugalho (AD), António Tânger Corrêa (Chega) and João Oliveira.

On the 28th and 30th of May, the last debates will also take place on public television. The first has all party forces with parliamentary representation and the second has candidates from parties without parliamentary representation.

Remember that the European television debates now have their final version after, at the beginning of the month, the formats (so-called face to face) proposed by the three channels were rejected by the PS and AD.

However, all the interviews with the list leaders in the list have also been defined. CMTV. Conducted by José Carlos Castro during the ‘Grande Jornal da Noite’, they start on Monday (13) with Pedro Fidalgo Marques (candidate for PAN) and end, on the 23rd, with Marta Temido, head of the list for PS. The day before, Sebastião Bugalho was interviewed.
