‘Superman’: Fan Art Shows David Corenswet Wearing Costume with Red Underwear; Check out!

Scheduled to July 2025the new film from ‘Super man‘ is gaining several new features as recording progresses.

At the moment, fans’ biggest curiosity is to see the hero’s new complete costume played by David Corenswet (‘Pearl’).

With that in mind, a page dedicated to the universe A.D shared a fan art which imagines the star wearing the costume with the classic red underwear, an accessory that was left out of the adaptations created by Henry Cavill.

Unfortunately, the official costume won’t be revealed anytime soon, as the writer and director revealed. James Gunn.

Via Threads, a fan asked:

“james gunn, why this torture? Why haven’t you revealed Superman’s full costume yet?”

In response, the filmmaker was direct when saying:

“Because the film won’t be released for at least a year.”

Remembering that the most recent update about the film was the addition of Wendell Pierce as Perry White’s interpreter.

White is one of the journalists at Planeta Diário, where he works alongside Lois Lane (Rachel Brosnahan) and played a key role in Clark Kent getting a job at the newspaper.

For those who don’t know, Pierce is known for his work on ‘Jack Ryan’, ‘The Listening’, ‘Elsbeth’ It is ‘Suits’.

The news was released by the Hollywood Reporter and later confirmed by Gunn through social networks.

“In case you’re wondering, this is accurate. Happy to welcome Wendell Pierce to the DC Studios family.”he wrote Gunn.

Remembering that ‘Super man’ (previously ‘Superman – Legacy’) will kick off the new DC Extended Universe (DCU), also bringing Nicholas Hoult (‘X-Men – First Class’) as the villain Lex Luthor.

The film will also include other heroes from the DC universe, such as Nathan Fillion playing Green Lantern Guy Gardner, Anthony Carrigan as Shapeshifter and Edi Gathegi as Mr. Fantastic.
