Planet of the Apes: The Reign arrives soon in Brazilian cinemas, and promises to cause a turnaround in the franchise. Reign takes place 300 years after the end of the War for the Planet of the Apes – portrayed in War for the Planet of the Apes (2017). The death of the leader “Caesar” left a huge hole in the ape society, and also the need for new leaders. Hence, new “Caesars” emerge. And in Planet of the Apes: Reign, the monkey who holds power will prove to be an extremely authoritarian creature.
