‘The Instigators’: Matt Damon and Casey Affleck together in the first images from the new film from the director of ‘The Bourne Identity’

A EntertainmentWeekly released images of Matt Damon It is Casey Affleck in the director’s new film Doug Limanentitled ‘The Instigators‘.

The production marks the reunion of Damon It is Liman after working together on ‘The Bourne Identity‘.

It will also be the star’s first work alongside Affleck since ‘Manchester by the Sea’made by Damon.

Damon stars as Rory, a desperate father who reluctantly joins forces with a colleague and ex-con named Cobby (Affleck) to steal the ill-gotten gains of a corrupt politician. When the robbery inevitably goes wrong, the unlikely duo find themselves caught up in a whirlwind of chaos, pursued not only by the police but also by bureaucrats and vengeful crime bosses. Along the way, they convince Rory’s therapist, played by Hong Chau to join their turbulent escape.

The premiere is scheduled for August 2nd in North American theaters, before being broadcast globally on Apple TV+ in August 9th.
