According to deadline, Hugh Jackman (‘Logan’) will star in ‘The Death of Robin Hood‘ (The Death of Robin Hood), which is being described as a “dark reimagining” of the classic story of the noble thief.
Jodie Comer (‘Killing Eve’) was also confirmed in the film.
In the plot…
“The titular character will have to struggle with his past after a life of crime and murder. Lonely and battle-worn, he finds himself seriously injured and in the hands of a mysterious woman who offers him a chance at salvation.”
Michael Sarnoskiof the coming ‘A Quiet Place: Day One‘, will be responsible for the direction and script.
“This is a perfect opportunity to reinvent the story we all know about Robin Hood,” declared the filmmaker. “Finding the perfect actors to bring this narrative to life was essential. And I couldn’t be more excited to have the chance to see Hugh and Jodie do this story justice in a powerful and meaningful way.”
Filming is scheduled to begin in February 2025.
