Starring the eternal Paulo Gustavo as Dona Hermínia, the franchise was inspired by the protagonist’s relationship with his own mother, Déa Lúcia Vieira Amaral. Although it gets a good laugh with its comedic plots, the dramas do not go unnoticed in the trilogy, which shows the essence of love between mothers and children.

Hollywood stars Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan experience a mother and daughter who swap bodies after eating a magical cookie. In the cinematographic narrative, a maid needs to make peace with her own daughter, Jéssica (Camila Márdila), who feels abandoned because she was left by her mother.

Seeing Malu (Larissa Manoela) as a teenager, Ângela (Ingrid Guimarães) needs to find a way to reconnect with her daughter, while this seems to make them move even further away.
