Away from the stage since 2020, when the first allegations began to emerge that he had sexually abused several women, including his ex-partner Evan Rachel Woodthe controversial Marilyn Manson I already have a date to get back on the road.

As we told you here, the rocker will be touring North America between August and September this year and will be opening for the bands Five Finger Death Punch It is Slaughter to Prevail – both equally questionable due to their involvement in cases that are at least nebulous.

In this editorial, you can check out more details about this tour that could literally turn into a police case at any moment.

Five Finger Death Punch singer accused of domestic violence

In the case of Five Finger Death Punch, the controversy centers on the figure of the vocalist Ivan Moodyaccused of domestic violence in 2015 by his ex-wife, holly smith.

The version that reached the public says that it all started when she discovered messages exchanged by her husband with several women on his cell phone. Holly then went to sleep and woke up with Moody holding her and applying a Jiu-Jitsu move.

She further stated that the singer repeatedly punched her and tried to suffocate her with a blanket. Authorities were called at the time and Moody was arrested, but the charges were later dropped — Smith, however, sought a restraining order against the singer and eventually divorced him as well, attaching evidence of “ongoing domestic violence.”

Just as frightening is the fact that Ivan’s sister, Sandra Dykes, and the singer’s own mother issued restraining orders against him due to his “history of violence against women”. The singer defends himself, accusing the two (and also his own daughter) of trying to steal his money.

To close with a flourish, another important point: in 2020, at the height of deaths from COVID-19 in the United States, Five Finger Death Punch released the video for “Living the Dream”which criticizes the use of masks and associates the protective item with communism.

Slaughter to Prevail has Nazi accusations

Already tattooed Alex Terriblelead singer of Slaughter to Prevail, may be familiar to some people because he went viral last year with a video in which he appears fighting a giant bear.

In the images you can see below, the Russian musician (whose real name is Aleksandr Shikolai) calls the animal to confront him in the middle of a forest and grapples with the animal. This, by the way, was not the first time that Terrible faced a bear. Two years ago, he fought another animal for a music video scene and was heavily criticized on the networks.

It turns out that the controversies involving Alex go far beyond this situation, which in itself would already be controversial. A profile of the vocalist made by Revolver helps to understand a little about his situation, which involves accusations of Nazism — quite well-founded, as he had a tattoo of the Black Sun, a symbol used by far-right groups.

In the conversation with the portal, Shikolai justified himself and even contradicted a decision made by his manager by choosing to speak on the topic himself before even being asked:

I believe people need to know this because I never [quero] to hide. I don’t want to lie to myself in the first place, and I don’t want to lie to [o público]. When I was young, I made a lot of mistakes. I did a lot of dumb shit. Today, perhaps I still make mistakes. But being 30 years old, I have to be a fucking adult and take responsibility.

Alex’s explanation is simple: after giving up his drug addiction, he found new friends who had healthier habits, such as sports and reading. However, these people were far-right, and the singer decided to show his “loyalty” to the group by getting the tattoo. In the same conversation, he brought even more clarifications:

I wasn’t a Nazi and I didn’t share their political views. I just liked that they liked sports, they were smarter [do que os amigos anteriores] and they clearly had goals in life.

The singer’s speech, however, runs into some other problems. In recent years, Alex Terrible has been much more aligned with far-right ideas, including sharing theories about children being “brainwashed” into gender transitions.

When confronted about his current political position, the Russian chose the easy way out: “I’m not a political guy, I’m a musician”.

This makes it difficult to overcome distrust, and the association of these three names certainly turns the recently announced tour into a true horror show.
