When does the trailer come out? See date and poster

Joker 2 is certainly one of the most anticipated films of 2024 for several reasons. Starting the release of the film, Warner Bros announced, with the film’s poster, its official title in Brazil and the date on which we will have the first trailer for the DC Comics adaptation.

Starring again by Joaquin Phoenix, who this time is joined by Lady Gaga (A Star Is Born) in the role of Harleen Quinzel, Harley Quinn, the film was already highly anticipated by fans due to the impact that the first feature had upon its release. The DC Comics adaptation focused on the Joker even earned Phoenix an Oscar for Best Actor for his work as Arthur Fleck, a disturbed man who ends up becoming a villain in Gotham City.

Gaga’s presence in the film is also a reason for everyone’s attention, as the presence of the singer and actress was the first indication that the sequel would be a musical. The film, which will be called Joker: Delirium for Two, should feature original and renowned songs, in the voices of Phoenix and Gaga. It is worth remembering that the actor already has vocal experience after having starred in Johnny and Junebiopic of singer Johnny Cash.

Trailer already has a release date

So far, we know nothing about the history of Delirium for Two in addition to the meeting between the Joker and Harleen Quinzel. It is not even known whether the film will follow the same known plot, with Harleen working as a psychiatrist at Arkham Asylum and falling in love with the Clown Prince of Crime.

This secret, as well as how this will all appear to be a musical, should be revealed on April 9th, the date chosen by Warner Bros. for the release of the first trailer for the adaptation.

please note that Joker: Delirium for Two It is part of its own universe, with no connection to other DC films, and you can play as you wish with well-known characters. In the first feature film, this was already quite clear with the presence of Thomas and Bruce Wayne, still children, in the plot.

Joker tells the story of Arthur Fleck, a failed comedian who, little by little, gives in to madness and violence, becoming one of the most prominent criminals in Gotham City, making the city even more dangerous just with his existence. The film is available to watch on Max.

Joker: Delirium for Two is scheduled to premiere in cinemas across Brazil on October 4th and features names like Zazie Beetz (Atlanta), Brendan Gleeson (The Banshees of Inisherin), Steve Coogan (Night at the Museum), Ken Leung (Avatar: The Last Airbender) and Catherine Keener (Run!).
