Queen Madonna decided to go crazy this Wednesday afternoon (1st). From her suite at the Copacabana Palace hotel, she shared several Brazilian memes, including Web Diva Tulla Luana and a scene from the soap opera “Mulheres Apaixonadas” (2003), starring actress Giulia Gam.
Furthermore, Madonna also published a photo of herself in which she herself wrote, in Portuguese, the phrase “Calling my angels”.
In another image, Christ the Redeemer appears wearing a reinterpretation of the classic t-shirt worn by the queen in the “Papa Don’t Preach” video, which reads “Italians do it better”. Now, Brazilianized, the message honors the Brazilian fans who are waiting for it on May 4th, in Copacabana.
The pop star arrived in the country last Monday (29), and went straight to the hotel, accompanied by her youngest daughters, Mercy James, Estere and Stella, as well as a battalion of security guards.
Madonna’s show, which will be broadcast live on TV, is expected to generate around R$300 million in the local economy, in addition to its long-lasting cultural impact (via O Globo). This is also the last performance of the “Celebration” tour, which celebrated its 40-year career.
