The British band The Mission and the American Christian Death will begin a Latin American tour entitled “D-Tour 24” in October 2024, which will feature three shows in Brazil.
In the 80s, The Mission was part of the British gothic movement alongside names such as The Sisters of Mercy, Joy Division, Siouxsie And The Banshees and The Cure, achieving worldwide success with hits such as “Wasteland”, “Severina” and “Butterfly On A Wheel”. Christian Death, in turn, identified more with the Los Angeles punk scene and heavy metal, but their performances inspired by David Bowie and Throbbing Gristle and their sound made them fit the “goth” label.
