The Lisbon stock exchange benefits from the construction group’s gains, offset by trading in BCP shares, which are falling more than 2%.
The Lisbon stock exchange is registering an increase of around 0.16% in the PSI index, up to 6,202.95 points, in the middle of this Thursday’s session. The numbers benefit from gains of 6.10% in Mota-Engil shares, up to 5.74 euros.
Still among the gains, Galp is at 1.10%, reaching 14.71 euros. Among energy companies, REN rises 0.92% and negotiations are being carried out in exchange for 2,195 euros, while EDP advances 0.91%, to 3,679 euros.
Conversely, BCP is holding back the index’s gains, as bonds are falling 2.33%, to 0.2725 euros.
Among European markets, Germany is jumping 0.51%, followed by Italy and the United Kingdom, both increasing 0.37%. On the other hand, Spain loses 0.12%, while France and the Euro Stoxx 50 aggregate index are both falling 0.04%.
In the oil market, crude fell 0.09%, reaching 78.47 dollars per barrel, while Brent dropped 0.28%, reaching 81.92 dollars.
