With 80.29% of the votes (21,489), the triumph of André Villas-Boas, aged 46, put an end to the 42-year reign and 15 mandates of Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa, who, aged 86, became the leader with more titles and longevity in world football.
The wife of Fernando Madureira, boss of the ‘Super Dragões’, exercised her right to vote this Saturday at Estádio do Dragão. The court did not accept Fernando Madureira’s request for a vote, who is in prison. ‘Macaco’ did not, therefore, contribute to the historic number of 26,876 members who elected the governing bodies for the four-year period 2024-2028 at Estádio do Dragão.
