Zeno Debast will be Sporting’s first reinforcement for the new 2024/25 season. The 20-year-old Belgian defender is one small step away from signing a long-term contract with the Lions and moving to Alvalade in the summer, according to the newspaper A BOLA, in this Wednesday’s edition.
The same publication explains that Sporting managed to get closer to the conditions required by Anderlecht and that they will have to pay an amount between 16 and 18 million euros.
In turn, Debast will sign a five-season contract with Sporting and will have a release clause worth 80 million euros.
Trained at Anderlecht, the young Belgian from Halle is in his third season with the main team (he currently has 37 games) and already has six appearances in the A team. Juventus, Eintracht Frankfurt and West Ham were also following his evolution , but Sporting seems to have managed to stay ahead of the competition.
