The funerals of José Alexandre Lopes Moreira (24 years old) and Arlindo Michel Lopes (17 years old) will take place next Saturday, in Queimadela, Fafe, the parish where they were born.

The bodies of the failed emigrants, who resided in Paris, will be in a burning chamber in the Mortuary Chapel of Queimadela, then proceed to the Parish Church, where the funeral ceremonies will take place, starting at 3:30 pm on Saturday.

They will be buried in the family plot located in the Queimadela cemetery. Funeral ceremonies are in charge of the Carlos Vieira de Castro Funeral Home.

The brothers, remember, lost their lives after a tragic accident occurred in the province of Zamora, in Spain, when they were returning from Paris for the traditional vacation in Portugal.

The victims’ father was also in the car and was transported by helicopter to a Spanish hospital in a serious condition.
