Striker, 23 years old, arrives on loan from Fluminense
AVS SAD made the signing of striker Samuel Granada official this Thursday. The 23-year-old Brazilian arrives at Vila das Aves on loan from Fluminense, valid until the end of the season.
“I feel very happy. It’s a very important challenge for me and my career, I feel good and I’m very excited about this season. I hope I can help the team a lot and score a lot of goals. Expectations are very good, I’m to fulfill a dream by playing outside of Brazil. I’m ready”, he said, to the media of the Avenza emblem, before describing himself: “I’m a killer, first of all, but I also help a lot in marking, I move well, I’m a good assistant and I fight until the end for the ball.”
Formed in the Tricolor emblem, the striker has only six games for the main team, having had several loans in recent seasons, the last of which was at Volta Redonda, where he scored six goals in 15 matches.
Coach Jorge Costa thus gains an important alternative for the attacking center, where Nenê, at 40 years old, has been undisputed.
