Galatasaray are interested in signing Rafa Silva, from Benfica. The coach of the Turkish club confirmed, this Thursday, that the Reds striker is one of the targets to reinforce the team as a free player, as his contract ends in the summer.
«The player monitoring department is working on the transfer. We are making preparations, we are monitoring the players, who may be free players. No work is being done on a specific name at the moment”, began Okan Buruk, at a press conference
«Rafa Silva is a very valuable and successful player. Many teams from many countries will want to count on him. Many players will appear at no cost. I am currently focused on the league, but the preparations of our department that monitors the players continue. Decisions will be made in a few weeks, according to this season’s performance», he added.
At 30 years old, Rafa is having one of the best seasons of his career. The former Portuguese international has 18 goals and 14 assists in 44 games, but continuity at Luz seems increasingly difficult.
