Videos of athletes trying to drive the ball through large bushes, holes and other surprises on the lawn went viral on social media.

The “carpet” hosted a flash tournament, according to the daily, which is customary in the preparation of amateur and semi-amateur teams for the Peru Cup. The tournament in the South American country is played throughout the national territory, with divisions by region, and is separated into district, provincial, departmental and national stages.

The tournament does not feature teams from Peru’s first two divisions, but it has great value for those who compete, as it grants two places for the country’s second division – regardless of the team’s origin.
