There has already been a bid at the auction for the land where the training fields are located, as well as the tennis courts and the building attached to the Bessa Stadium, owned by Boavista. As can be seen on the e-auctions portal, the opening bid, worth 2,861,700 euros, takes place 11 days before the auction closes. The lot has a value of 5,723,400 euros and a minimum bidding amount of 4,864,890 euros – which has not yet been reached. At issue is a lot consisting of land intended for an underground public parking lot and sports equipment, football training fields, tennis courts, tennis support building and support pavilion, covered tennis pavilion, multipurpose pavilion and others .
Land for training fields and tennis courts is up for auction
The public auction of the land where the current training fields are located results from a debt owed to a banking institution that dates back to the construction of the Bessa Século XXI Stadium. The auction is scheduled to close on May 7th, at 10 am.
