Pinto da Costa, former president of FC Porto, will remain on the club’s Superior Council for the four-year period 2024-28, as stipulated in the dragons’ statutes.

According to point B of article 69 of the FC Porto statutes regarding the composition of the Superior Council, it reads: “The president and vice-presidents of the governing bodies in office and, as well, the presidents and vice-presidents of the governing bodies of the immediately previous mandate, provided that they have fully fulfilled their respective mandates”.

Now, as JN also confirmed, all presidents and vice-presidents of FC Porto’s corporate bodies (General Assembly Board, management, Fiscal and Disciplinary Council) will maintain a seat on the club’s Superior Council inherently.

Thus, Pinto da Costa, Lourenço Pinto, Nuno Namora, Adelino Caldeira, Alípio Jorge, Fernando Gomes, José Américo Amorim, Paulo Morais, Vítor Baía, Jorge Guimarães and Filipe Moreira will be part of the Superior Council.

As we found out, André Villas-Boas’ list will have 15 members on the Superior Council while elected members; Pinto da Costa’s list will have 4 elements and, finally, list D – of the independent movement headed by Miguel Brás da Cunha – will have one element.
